Dear all,

Due to oversea job, I sold my car to a car dealer in a hurry at the beginning of the year 2007.

I renewed road tax in Nov-2006 for a half year. So can I get back 4-month road tax from LTA/GOV?

Is it possible to get money back, in case of dealer "sell this car" or "scrap car", or "export car", etc.

How about car insurance?

Any documents I need to ask for future buying car.

Road tax.

If you car has been de-registered, you should have worked out with the dealer to have the refund paid back to you. If the car is still on sg roads, then you wont get back any refund at all.

Insurance.

Yes, call up the insurance company you need to fill up some forms. Cheque will be sent back to you directly.

Will try to do that (insurance only I think) when I back to sgp.

not sure how long my NCD can be kept for my next car.
